Launch of ‘Walk the Old Tracks’ booklet combined with a coffee morning and information event. This was held at Bolsterstone Village Hall and was attended by 122 people.
Heritage Rides launch for cyclists (2/7/22)
Launch of Heritage Rides and Sheffield Lakeland Loops for cyclists, held at ‘Our Cow Molly’, Dungworth, Sheffield by kind permission of Eddie Andrew. 84 people visited the stall and also enjoyed the ice cream!
Heritage Rides launch for horse riders (2/6/22)
Launch event for the Heritage Rides leaflets, hosted by James Russel of Moorwood Equine, Stannington. 37 riders took part; the ride was held on the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee bank holiday and show cased parts of two of the Heritage rides....and the beautiful Sheffield ‘Lakeland’ scenery.
Walkley Historians (18/2/22)
Project volunteer, Melanie Fitzgerald, gave a talk on the Racker Way at Walkley Community Centre by invitation of Walkley Historians. Approximately 45 people attended.

Coffee morning and information event at Bradfield Village Hall. 22 people attended, including project volunteers and Alex Sotheran, Community Archaeologist.

coffee morning, held at Sheffield Equestrian Centre, Green Farm, Stocksbridge. 19 people attended, including project volunteers and SRWT’s ecologist, Jon Goodrick. The event was hosted by the Ashby family and was run as an information event.
